Hours of Operation 2010 Seasonal

OPEN DAILY for the SUMMER SEASON

 May 15 - September 6 from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Saturday, noon to 5:30 on Sundays

 Guided tours: learn how a creamery operated in the 1930's. Cost $3 per person or $10 per family

"Kaffistofa" Coffee Shop :serves delicious  ice cream cones & light lunches with an Icelandic flare

 Pint Size Gift Shop:offers a limited selection of unique gifts and books which include:

         Settlement Tales of West Central Alberta: The Markerville Story by Carl Morkeberg 

         Looking Back Over My Shoulder: A memoir by Rosa Benediktson

         History of the Icelandic National League of North America * NEW

Creamery Lawn: enjoy the gazebo, picnic tables or outdoor stage, take a stroll across a nearby walking bridge or to the playground

Walking Tour: pick up a brochure in the Creamery and take a walk through the hamlet to locate building  sites and facts from the turn of the century.  Enjoy the quiet and the scenic beauty of this historic hamlet.
