Pick up a map at the Markerville Creamery Museum and enjoy dicovering where the buildings, of this thriving community in the early 1900's, were sitiuated. Read on the signs a brief history about each one.Three of the buildings,on their original location, have been or are being restored. Most of the buildings, such as the Livery Stable and Blacksmith Shop, are gone however a local man has brought all of them back to life in minature. The minature village is occationally displayed on the Creamery lawn. While in Markerville stroll accross the walking bridge where you will find a beautiful natural park bordered by the river. Come back to the Creamery Museum and enjoy a coffee, ice cream cone, or a little lunch, often finding local people happy to share a visit. Markerville, today, is a peaceful quiet hamlet where history and charm come together.
