The Beginning of the Restoration

In 2017, the Stephan G. Stephansson Icelandic Society was lucky enough to have the opportunity to purchase the Buttermaker House. In order to make the purchase possible, the Society reached out to the Red Deer County to help make it possible. With significant help from the county, the Society was able to purchase it and start the restoration process.
