Historic Fensala Hall
Fensala Hall has provided a gathering place for the community in good times and bad,for over 100 years. Today you can rent the fully restored original 1903 building with its addition containing modern conveniences and full wheelchair accessibility. Fensala is the perfect venue for your family gathering,meeting or wedding.Seating capacity 80-100, theater style 120-140. Fensala Hall is "Your Markerville Event Headquarters".

Historic Markerville Lutheran Church
Open daily in the summer or by request, this lovingly cared for little church welcomes all to spend a quiet moment. It is available to book for weddings, family reunion services or special events, seating 100 people. Built in1907 by local Icelandic pioneers it has served as the community spiritual anchor over the years.

Tindastoll Cemetery
Tindastoll cemetery sits on a small,quiet rural hill top with trees and birds, offering a scenic backdrop and a soothing setting in times of need. Opened in 1894 and still active, it is now part of the Icelandic Society, another historical place held in trust for future generations.
