Historic Markerville Church 

​This quaint church is a landmark in Markerville and Red Deer County. Originally built in 1907, it is known for the immaculate restoration and signature blue and white colour. Markerville Lutheran Church holds a unique sense of history and timeless beauty that has lasted over a century.
With seating for 100 guests, this historic church creates a wonderful close and personal ceremony your guests will not soon forget. This venue is one of a kind and creates timeless wedding photos that will be cherished for generations. The beautiful bell tower is available to mark this historic moment in your life story.

​Fensala Hall

Originally built in 1903 by the pioneers that settled Markerville and area, this historic hall is a Provincially designated Historic Site and the longest operating hall in Alberta.
​
Fensala Hall was restored in 2006 with modern amenities and a commercial kitchen, perfect for hosting a wedding reception. There is also a sound system and stage at the hall which will give your guests the opportunity to dance the night away.
The original Fensala Hall was well known for hosting dances and weddings that were attended by people from all over the Markerville area. Steeped in history, the hall is a unique venue to host your special day. The hall has a capacity of 100 seated guests at tables and space for a dance floor or 150 theatre style guest seating.
