Today, the Creamery Museum is a Provincially designated Historic site and an Alberta Museums Association Recognized Museum. Open to the public from mid-May to September. The Creamery Museum offers educational programming for students, guided tours, tour luncheons and many special events.
In the off season, the Creamery Museum hosts a time-honoured tradition called “Coffee Club” friends, family and neighbours gather to share a coffee & fellowship. Everyone is welcome so contact us for more information. |

Fensala HallBuilt in 1903, this community hall is steeped in history and the longest operating hall in Alberta. A designated Provincial Historic site, it was completely restored in 2006 with a commercial kitchen and modern amenities. This 100 guest hall is available for your special event.

The Buttermaker's HouseThis historic country home was built in 1913 by Dan Morkeberg for the Creamery's buttermaker, William H. Jackson.
Designated as a Provincial and Municipal Historic site, its restoration journey began in 2020 and is now completed, with a Grand Opening date of September 15th, 2023. The Buttermaker's House Residency will welcome artists of many disciplines to the idyllic rural community of Markerville. |
Tindastoll CemeteryThe Tindastoll Cemetery was established in 1903 and is a quiet resting place for many of our pioneers and their families.
