Relax at a picnic table on the Creamery grounds after you have a guided tour of the Museum and learn how butter was made in the 1930's. Visit the gift shop and order a lunch in the Kaffistofa(coffee shop) and have some traditional Icelandic dessert or a delicious ice cream cone. Get your picture taken while you sit on or milk one of our interactive 'cows' on display, or play a game with our bean-bag-bull.
Take a walking tour map from the Museum and read the plaques that are visible in each yard to describe what buildings were originally on that land during the peak of commerce in Markerville. While you wander through the hamlet, you can let the kids play on the modern playground that is right next to the hall.
